Sponsor & Support
👋 Thanks for being here. I'd like to share why I created this blog.
In school, computer science was not on my radar and I was not sure of my future career. I found a job working as a consultant for a software company, and my eyes were opened to the power of code for the first time. Five years later, I transferred to product management, where I would hash out the requirements for new features before sending them to the development team.
It was cool to design something new but I craved more hands-on problem-solving, so I looked into becoming a developer myself. Qualifications for entry-level software developers vary between companies, and I happened to be at one that required a 4-year computer science degree or equivalent experience.
I decided the best option for me to gain the necessary skills quickly was to quit my job and enroll in a full-time web development bootcamp. Even with an engineering degree and over 5 years of experience at a software company, the hard truth was that I needed new skills to make this work. I knew it was a huge risk, but it felt like a bigger risk to my career and sanity to do nothing.
During that time of uncertainty, I searched for people with similar stories for advice and inspiration. Now that I'm on the other side, I use this blog to share my experience with developers at any stage of their journey. Writing requires a lot of time and effort, so if you find my articles valuable, consider sponsoring my work. I would truly appreciate it 😁
